Candice A. Jackson grew fascinated with the idea of enhancing natural beauty as a teen. Watching her mother, Michelle and sister, Parris style hair as a child, she loved the beauty industry. An athlete, Jackson wanted to appear ladylike despite the aggression that she displayed while competing. Though initially forbidden, the three-sport athlete began to experiment with her mother’s makeup daily. Eventually, respecting the teenager’s skill, her mother conceded and supported her craft.
In college, Jackson became the go-to makeup artist for fashion shows, photo shoots and special occasions. In addition to her studies, she also tapped into pageantry, modeling and leadership in organizations such as the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She even caught the attention of the world’s first traveling fashion show, the Ebony Fashion Fair, during its final tour.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications and while pursuing her Master of Science degree in Information and Communications Sciences, Jackson was involved in an accident with a semi-truck that changed her life forever. Undergoing extreme appearance changes and suffering from mental limitations, she experienced discontentment like never before.
During her rehabilitation, Ms. Jackson grew determined to live a limitless life and made a personal vow to always pursue her dreams. While seeking to recover her independence, Jackson was rejected for hundreds of jobs despite her educational preparedness. On a whim, Jackson applied for a retail position and returned to cosmetics where she began her career at the age of 15.
Working for cosmetic authorities such as Christian Dior and MAC Cosmetics and doing freelance work for BET Networks and McDonald's in recent years, the entrepreneur was inspired to create her own brand that would perhaps inspire women and men all over the world to be Limitless. Thanks to the contributions of immediate family, close friends and former classmates, The Limitless Look Digital Magazine, is the first of many projects in the works for The Limitless Enterprise. Next, Jackson is venturing into retail and fashion design as she launches the first of her original designs, The Limitless Lips Makeup Brush Belt.
Candice is now branding for her blog, "One Queen Mother" and is the proud mother of Randy Ledet III!
